This week marks the one-year anniversary of a crazy idea to start this blog and find the humor in the work in art therapy.
As a special treat, I’m giving away a prize to one lucky reader! One of the things I love and use with clients is a Buddha Board. Check it out here: …
My favorite artist is my best friend Ellen Surrey, who is a talented freelance illustrator with a highly unique and colorful style. Follow her to see what I mean :)
Corgi Lobster On the Loose!: Watch Henry the Corgi shimmy and shake to the B-52’s “Rock Lobster,” in this music video inspired by the famous corgi lobster meme. Henry loves his costume and had a ton of fun making this video!
This is what I did with my spring break from work :)

Hi tumblr i was just wondering if anyone here could message me about something. I’m having an MRI scan next week to look for a pituitary tumour as i’ve been having some hormonal imbalances, i just wondered if anyone on here could message me to talk/give advice if you’ve ever had an MRI scan of any part of your body as i don’t know what to expect and am a little nervous, or if you have a similar diagnosis? thank you tumblr
Hii. I have a prolactinoma (diagnosed 4 years ago) and have to get MRIs yearly. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.
I was really nervous before my first MRI, but it ended not being as bad as i thought. Be prepared for it to be be loud and cramped inside the machine, and having to stay still for 30+ minutes. They had a window/mirror set up so I could see out (it helped me not feel so claustrophobic) and they said I could let them know if needed them to stop. If the MRI is “with contrast” (mine was) then they will give you a injection before they put you in. They let my mom stay in the room with me. That was my experience but you should talk to your technicians in case they have different practices. Good luck!
Yuppp….. done this before lol
